Installing the Prothane Motor Mount Inserts

Passenger Side Mount
STEP 1. If you haven't already done so, loosen the passenger side wheel lug nuts, raise the front of the car, support it with jackstands and remove the wheel.

STEP 2. Support the engine with a jack underneath the passenger side of the oil pan. Make sure that it is secure.

STEP 3. Remove the plastic cap inside the wheel well for access to the motor mount through bolt. Pic1

STEP 4. Disconnect the evap canister purge solenoid and pull up on the solenoid so you can tuck it out of the way. Pic2

STEP 5. Slowly remove the mount through bolt. It's an 18mm. If it does not come out straight you may need to make adjustments to the height of the jack holding the motor up. Pic3

STEP 6. Remove the remaining two 15mm bolts holding the mount in place and then remove the mount from the car. Pic4

STEP 7. The insert goes into the mount as shown. It may be easier to install the mount after getting it wet with a little water. Also a rubber mallet will help it go in. Pic5
