-
Remove the front motor mount from
the car.
-
Use a coping saw or sharp utility
knife to remove the rubber nub inside the motor mount.
-
Holding the motor mount with spaces
forming two “V” shapes as shown in the picture, insert the larger
of the two small pieces(labeled A) into the upper left section with the
single cut side down, forming the “\” of the “V”.
-
Next, insert the smallest piece(labeled
B)into the upper right section with the flat side down, forming the “/”
completing the smaller “V”. These pieces will not go in easily if not positioned
correctly so check before forcing them in.
-
Take the large piece labeled C
and insert it into the lower left section of the motor mount with the grooved
area facing inward and lined up with the pointed part in the middle of
the motor mount, forming the “\” of the “V”.
-
Take the large piece labeled D
and insert it into the lower right section of the motor mount with the
grooved area facing inward and lined up with the pointed part in the middle
of the motor mount forming the “/” of the “V”.
-
Check to make sure these pieces
are lined up correctly before pushing them all the way into the motor mount;
then push them in.
-
Reinstall the motor mount in your
car.
